School Programs

Strong Girls, Strong World Program

We have created proactive, experiential and innovative programs working directly with girls in their classrooms, teams, student council, peer-mediators and clubs. We have designed these programs for girls in elementary, middle and high schools. We believe girls need a safe place to work through friendship issues and to learn effective leadership skills so they can be focused and happier students.

Recommendations

"Our students and also our  teachers benefited from Tim and Anne's guidance and training and are looking forward to continuing this partnership in the future.  We would recommend the Jordans without reservation."                                ~ Andrea Ruth, Assistant Head of School

"I feel so fortunate to have you working with our students. We have heard great praise from both teachers and parents as well as from the 4th grade class of girls you are working with this year.  We appreciate you and this outstanding program."
~ Joan Oakley, Assistant Superintendent, Ladue School District

"I am so often caught up in other people’s expectations that I had never before considered taking control of my life. After Dr. Jordan’s talk I decided I will be in charge of my story." ~ Senior at Ursuline Academy

"Usually when I take time for myself to relax and be with my thoughts, I feel guilty because there are so many other things I could be doing. You helped me realize that slowing down and taking time for myself is healthy and needed." ~ Senior at Ursuline Academy

"My students recently completed the SGSW program with Tim and Anne Jordan. The girls and I were so impressed with their compassion, and particularly their understanding of the issues facing young girls. The girls were pleasantly surprised that Tim was so aware of how the girls' experiences are unique, and that he made each girl feel so safe and confident in expressing herself. They provided us with excellent tools to help the girls handle conflict, build trust, and resolve differences. We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with the Jordans and I strongly recommend this program for girls."
~ Bridget Nations, Teacher at Chesterfield Montessori School

"Your non-judgmental acceptance and understanding promoted trust. You touched them and they listened. You showed them strategies to bridge their differences and they responded. Thank you so much for the beautiful day you spent with our Grade Five female students."
~ Anne Reinholdt, Teacher at Forsyth School

"The forethought and flexibility underlying the two day retreat proved quite successful. Dr. Jordan and his staff crafted a program wherein the children reflect on the ways that they treat each other and the ramifications those actions have on peers."
~ Matthew Virgil, Director at Rossman School

"All of Dr. Tim's stories and metaphors spoke to me. They helped me think about who I really am and what I want to do with my life. Most of all he taught me that making mistakes is okay, and that mistakes could end up being the best thing that ever happens to you because they make us who we are and can lead us to even better things and opportunities."
~ Junior student at Nerinx High School
